About Hamilton Stages
Our Purpose
At Hamilton Stages, our purpose is to showcase the best and most interesting aspects of original dramatic and comedic works of art. Our goal is to entertain and inspire through the arts. We hope to introduce you to new and exciting productions as well as celebrate and highlight the classics. We look forward to meeting you at a stage near you.
Writer/Director
Schonté Hamilton is a journalist from Chicago, IL. She fell in love with theater at a young age. In college she began writing and self producing local and community stage plays while studying journalism. She ventured into television and film shortly after college and has won numerous awards and festivals for both writing and directing.
Notable cast Members
We have produced over 17 productions that have toured around the country with casts from New York to Los Angeles. Many of our former cast members can be seen on the small and big screens and in commercials for big brands such as McDonalds. While we are not an agency or acting school we take pride in helping our cast develop and grow with each performance.
We have been recognized and celebrated by WeTV, The Braxtons, Claudia Jordan and many more.
